Why do they want to overthrow the gods? For power, of course. Gaea, and the Giants are planning to overthrow Olympus and the Greek gods and have started by capturing Hera, wife of Zeus, King of The Gods. Jason, Leo, and Piper are all demigods, (half-gods or people with one godly parent) Jason, of Jupiter, Leo, of Hephaestus, and Piper, of Aphrodite. They receive a quest in which they are sent to rescue Hera from the Giants before Gaea awakens from her deep slumber. They meet many obstacles along the way that prove very difficult. Will they save Hera before Gaea awakens? Will they save Olympus from sure peril? Find out by reading The Lost Hero.
This is a great book for ages 10 and up. It has an exciting plot, a fast pace, and is a page-turner. It was probably my favorite book that I have ever read! It has tons of action, and some comedy here and there while being under the fantasy genre. I recommend this book for anyone and everyone able to read it!
Sounds like a great mystery or action book. Makes we want to read it, because I like the problem and actions that could possibly occur. Maybe I'll read it one day.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever have had some crazy parent or some weird superpower able to save the world. The protagonists Jason, Leo and Piper have all these things to worry about. The Lost Hero is about how the protagonists have to save the world from an unspeakable evil. The setting takes place all over the united states in present day. The confict is how these three protagonists have to save the world and if they fail the world they know will be changed forever. I liked that the lost hero because it was filled with adventure and action. Rick Radorian is also the author of the well liked series Percy Jackson. Both books were amazing, I would recommend it to anyone.
Eveything was great but i think it was a little too short any way to happy. If it were me i would have made it a little more dramatic.
