What if you could get into one of the best schools in the world? Would you risk being caught? What If you got $7,000? Clay porter took that risk. three friends named Eric, Max And Schwarz, Make a bet for $28,000 that they can get a deadbeat high school into Harvard an Ivy League college. Clay doesn't want more school but he'll do it for the money. This group of friends does not just want to hack into the Harvard computer system, they want to make it seem like Clay is the perfect student. Step one is to choose an image for Clay and make him interesting. They choose an artist who makes modern art. They chose that because no one really understands modern art, they just read the description and trust what it says. step two is to remove the file from his high school and replace them with all A's. Finally they have the Interview, they find out what the interviewer likes from his favorite recreational activity's to what kind of shirts he likes. Then comes the Letter.
I enjoyed this book because it talked about Harvard from a different point of views. It shows the flaws that the Harvard admission system have, for example there are thousands of worthy applicants but the few that get in are just as good as the others, also people use that final letter as measure of their success.
