It's Not Summer Without You By: Jenny Han

Review By:Serina Passaretti

This Book It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han is very intense about feelings for your family and close friends. Some of the protagonists are "Belly", Conrad, Jeremiah, Susannah, and Steven. Susannah is Jeremiah and Conrads mother who sadly gets cancer and dies. Also Steven and "Belly" are brother and sister. This story is set at a place called "Cousins Beach" where Susannah, Jeremiah, and Conrad live.

I really liked this book because it has a huge theme of love and passion. I also really liked it because I connect with the character "Belly" this is because in the book she has sort of a "thing" for Conrad and what happens is they go out and Conrad takes "Belly" to prom but TOTALLY plays her for a fool and he makes it absolutely horrible for her. She then gets into a fight with him and they don't talk, I relate to it because something similar happened to me. But I don't want to give too much away. This book is very good to read and I recommend it if you like love and sad stories. I have read this book twice and I may read it again but it really is a GREAT book to read.
