This book starts when Number four gets his 3rd scar. He is from another planet. He was sent down here with a guardian because his planet is in war. The other planet is planning on destroying their planet. But first they got to kill all the numbers. It is numbers 1-9. Numbers 1-3 are dead meaning hes next. On his journey he meets some allies to hold off the enemies and to protect the earth.
The main character that i would most likely have as a friend would be number 4. I chose number 4 because he could protect me if I ever get bullied at school. He is also nice, smart, and loves a dog or is it a dog? Number 4 is thoughtful and overprotective of his friends and will get angry if someone pranks them. That is why i would want to be friends with Number 4 the most.

My personal reaction to the book at the beginning was that this was going to be very interesting book. it was when number 4 started glowing in the water when i realized it was going to be interesting. i was really impressed by how in tensing the book was. i like how much action the book had and and how there was a huge twist at the ending. The book was Drama, and Action. That is why i like the book
