"Tuck Everlasting" By: Natalie Babbit

Reviewed by: MacKenzie Hand

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live forever? This book describes exactly what it would be like. The setting is set back in the year 1880 in the town of Treegap. The protagonist Winnie Foster comes from a very wealthy family and her parents are very protective over her. All she dreams about is going into the woods and see what is in there. One day she finally descides to go into the woods and explore there she finds a youge 17 year old boy named jesse. Jesse has a secret but to find out what it is you have to read to find out.

This book was very well written with a lot of figurative language which made it interesting to read. The setting also interested me because it was very different from how we live now. The Tuck family reminds me of my family how we are really close and always have stories to tell and advice to give. This book really made me realize the important things in my life and how you should always appreciate what we have today.

Honorable mention: Small steps by: Peg Kehret.
