The plane had entered the airport without anyone recognizing it. It landed and was heading fastly at the crowded gate! It stopped inches away from crashing. Angelia went in not knowing what was going to happen. There was no one driving it. All the passengers were all babies. Once she got out and looked back it disappeared out of thin air. She blinked and rubbed my eyes of astonishment.
The book Found mysterious is set in the twenty first century. The main protagonist is a boy named Jonah. He was adopted. Same with his new best friend Chip, who had recently moved into town. They both started getting strange frightening letters. Jonah wanted to know about his birth parents, somehow there were some connection with the FBI. In the document it showed witnesses and found survivors. Later on in the story they go into a mysterious cave the stops time and they will fall into a different century.

Remember Me to Harold Square by Paula Danziger
Remember Me to Harold Square by Paula Danziger is the ultimate teen sensation! Kendra Kaye is a girl from New York City who lives with her parents and annoying little brother Oscar. She isn’t really looking forward to this summer because all of her friends will be out of town doing exciting things while she’s stuck in New York City for the whole summer with Oscar. One thing her parents haven’t mentioned to her is that a fifteen year old boy named Frank that Kendra has never met, is coming to stay with them for the whole summer! Kendra gets nervous and wonders what he will be like. Will Frank be annoying like Oscar? Or will she fall in love with him? Who knows?! One other thing Kendra doesn’t know yet is that her parents have planned a scavenger hunt. The kids have to run all around New York City and visit its great sites! At the end of the summer, what will Kendra and Frank turn out to be? Just friends or maybe even more than that? Who knows?! Read this magnificent book to find out!
I liked this book because it sounded very interesting so I read it and fell in love with it, just like Kendra fell in love with Frank. I’ve always wanted to read a book that has to do with a teen love story over the summer. And now that I’ve read it. I want to read more! I think the genre of this book is young adult because it really is meant for young adults. I think young adults will understand this book better because children haven’t been in that stage yet and adults have but a long time ago so they might not know what our generation of kids are like. All in all, I think this book is a great book for anyone that wants to read about summer love, boys, and an annoying little brother who turns out to actually be a fun little brother so read this book. I guarantee you that you will love reading this book. You won’t regret it!

Beastly Alex Flinn
Review By: Emerson O'Connor
The book I chose for my book report that I gave 5 stars is Beastly by: Alex Flinn. The reason I chose this book is because I think it teaches an important message to many people who read the book. The book is about a boy named Kyle Kingsley who is in high school. He is a very arrogant and full-of-himself kind of person. His dad is rich and Kyle basically gets whatever he wants. He also doesn’t treat people very good at school. He thinks he rules the school. But that will soon all change. He messed with the wrong person. A girl named Kendra in Kyles class is a witch. But Kyle didn’t know that. He tricked her into going to the dance with him, but it turns out he wasn’t going with her at all. Kendra saw the arrogant side of Kyle. She cast a spell on him that turned into a beast. Till he found someone who loved him for his personality, not his looks. The main lesson here is, don't judge a book by it's cover

Do
you like books that have action, excitement, and romance? Then you should read Catching
Fire by Suzanne
Collins. After winning the 74th Hunger Games with her friend Peeta
Mellark, both of their families were moved to the Victor’s Village, a
neighborhood of all the victors from that district. Katniss and Peeta are in
trouble with the president of Panem, President Snow, on whether they truly love
each other, or they did it just so that both of them could survive. President
Snow announces what the Quarter Quell (a special Hunger Games that happens only
every 25 years and each one has something special about it). What will happen
to Katniss and Peeta? Will they die or survive?
I
recommend this book for young adults who are looking for a good book to read,
whether it’s for school, or just to read. Catching Fire makes me think about how important it is
to stand up for yourself and to believe what you believe in.

Addie On The
Inside Book Response
By: Natasia Maniatis
Addie On The Inside, By: James Howe is about a girl my age (12) and her name is Addie. She has some guy friends she likes to hang out with, but the thing is... only like two of the boys are gay. And a popular girl that used to be her friend is very mean to her ever since she moved away and came back. But the popular girl teases Addie because she hangs out with gay people. But Addie is dating a popular guy, and she thinks it will make her popular a little bit, but it doesn’t. Addie and her boyfriend have broken up so many times the last one is forever. The problem is that the people she used to hang out with are mean to her, and make fun of her for being friends with gay people at a young age. It is not Addie’s fault that gay people like her for who she is and not somebody else.
This book reminds me of bullying with a happy ending because the way kids or adults are treating each other now a days and it’s not very nice. The big idea the book helps me understand is to be yourself, and not someone else because if you be yourself then people will like you, but if you try to be someone else then kids will gossip or tease you.
I liked this book because you don’t know what will happen next. The book was the genre I like to read, so I don’t know if some people will like the book but that’s okay.

When Molly has no mother left, she is determined to tell her father that she’s his daughter. One problem though, Molly’s father Josh Cameron is the starting forward for the Boston Celtics. Plus, Molly has a limited amount of time to tell her dad because she’ll be moving with her friend to Los Angeles after Christmas. When Molly finds her dad and tells him the news he doesn't believe her. But when he eventually starts to believe her that she’s his daughter she gets mad at him for not believing her in the first place. So in a way the tables are turned. But will they settle things and live happily ever after? And will Molly stay in Boston?
I loved this book because for one thing, this takes place in Boston, where I live. But I also loved this book because Josh kept going back to try get Molly to stay with him in Boston and to live with her and to love her. This reminds of how when my mom and me have an argument and I kepp going back to her to try to say sorry and make up. If you love books with a situation that Molly and Josh is in and a splendid ending, then this book is for you!

Will Brian make it out of the forest alive? Will he make it back to his family? The protagonist is Brian. Brian survives a crash in the canadian forest and has to survive and hope someone rescues him. I think this book was good but a bit slow at times. Brian goes on a plane ride with one other person who is the pilot of the plane. The plane crashes due to the pilot having a hard attack and the pilot dies. The boat crashes in water so it is hard for Brian to access supplies. He has to survive in the wilderness for a long long time until someone finally rescues him. This book reminds me of Lost, a TV series because in both of these stories someone is stranded and know one knows where they are. I would definitely without a doubt recommend this book the my friends.

My Most Excellent Year By: Steve Kluger
Review By : Sajda A.
My
Most Excellent Year by Steve Kluger is one of those books that you would read
while on the beach relaxing. A nice, interesting book that leaves you wanting
for more. I personally loved My Most Excellent Year because it wasn’t one of
those predictable books. It was really interesting to follow the adventures the
three teens T.C., Augie, and Alejandra. It was also a coincidence that this all
took place in Brookline, Massachusetts and how T.C. liked the Boston Red Sox. I
like the Red Sox too but he is what we call a dedicated fan. The friendship
between T.C. and Augie was great and very strong, they considered each other as
brothers more than friends and so did their parents. They help each other so
much throughout the book, they would give each other advice on what the other
should do, as well as if it was the right decision or not. Alejandra on the
other hand was “the new kid”. In the beginning she didn’t really like, T.C.
because he was too much of a jerk. Though after she got to know him they became
good friends, as well as Augie and Alejandra. I highly recommend reading this
book.
The Brixon Brothers : The Case of the Case of Mistaken Idendity, book review
The name of the book is Brixton Brothers, The Case of the Case of Mistaken Identity. Written by Mac Barnett. This book is reviewed by Chris B.
If you like action, adventure, humor, mysteries and extreme misunderstandings, then The Case of the Case of Mistaken Identity is for you. The setting of the book is the quaint town of Ocean Park. The protagonist is named Steve Brixton. One problem that happens in the story is there is a book in the town library that the librarians think is connected to a criminal. Another problem is that steve’s identity is mistaken when he checks the book out for a school assignment.
I liked this story because it is funny that the entire problem starts because Steve checks out a library book. This book shows me that when a person is wrongly accused of something he must prove his own innocence instead of waiting for someone else to help solve the problem.
Another good book I recommend is Deltora Quest, the Forests of Silence by Emily Rodda.

Catching Fire
A book I have recently read is Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. In the sequel to the Hunger Games we go back to Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark who have won the 74th Hunger games. But they're not off the hook just yet. Just as Katniss thought this horror show was over, president Snow (from the capitol) arrives at Katniss house to tell her about something that will change Panema forever.
I liked this book for many reasons. One reason is that the book has sudden turns in the chapters and character you least expect shows up. I l also like how Katniss reacts in a situation and how she tries to fix it as fast as possible. Its a kind of book that makes you wonder what’s next. But I would give Catching Fire about 3 or 4 stars because I started to notice that Suzanne Collins is not putting the excitement in the middle of a chapter. In fact she is putting all the rising action to the end of a chapter than (often) they start talking on a completely different topic. I just noticed this in the book and I don’t really like what her strategy of writing is.

If you like adventure and are
ready for a new concept then you should read The City of Ember. The
protagonist in the book was Lina, a teenage girl. She lives in a city called
Ember, which isn’t like any normal city you or I know. The difference is that
they have no light. Will the Emberities find a solution shall they remain
living in a blackened out city?
I personally enjoyed the book
quite a bit. I liked the authors
pace and the vocabulary. Also the concept of the book was different than any
other book I have ever read. I never wanted to put the book down because it was
full of twist and turns. Also that it shows me how much light helps us in
everyday life and that we are fortunate to have light. So if you ever need a

Meet Me At The Boardwalk, Erin Haft By: Elizabeth Santourian
This year I read a very good book. Its now my favorite book I have ever read. This book is called Meet Me At The Boardwalk, By Erin Haft. If I could rate this book, It would be 5 out of 5 stars. This book is about three best friends, Jade, Miles and Megan. They all met on the boardwalk when they were all nine years old, so the boardwalk obviously means a lot to them. Now a man wants to tear the boardwalk down, and they have to stop them. While Megan is in love with Miles, and Jade and Miles are hiding a BIG secret from Megan. The protagonist is Jade and she if fun, and outgoing. Megan is shy, and really nice. And Miles is fun and a good friend. Jade reminds me of my cousin because she is outgoing just like her. I read this book in FOUR DAYS. It was that good!! And I usually hate books, but I couldn't put it down. If I were you I would buy and read this book for your summer reading book. It touched me a lot. When I finished this book I was upset because I really didn't want it to finish. So if you want to find out Miles and Jades HUGE secret they are hiding away from Megan, read this book now, then pass it on to a friend.

because Junie B. Jones made the sleepover not boring, like when they were
having a pillow fight. Even thought Lucille's nanna thought they were

TH1RTEEN R3ASONS WHY by Jay Asher
If you’re interested in reading a book filled with mystery and suspense, you should read Thirteen Reasons Why.
It’s about a girl named Hannah Baker. She is a high school girl who
recently committed suicide. Before she killed herself, she recorded 13
cassette tapes of herself explaining the reasons why she committed
suicide. Each tape is about a different person and what they did to her.
Hannah mailed the tapes to the person who was the first reason why and
sent directions to pass it along to all 13 reasons why. Hannah gave a
second set of the tapes to someone so that if someone didn’t pass the
tapes on, the second set would be released to everyone. The book is
through the eyes of Clay Jenson who is one of the reasons why. He tries
to understand why Hannah killed herself.
I liked this book because it kept me interested because I wanted to know all the reasons why Hannah committed suicide and how Clay is connected. I couldn’t stop reading it. All the tapes and people are connected. Each person and their actions leads to the other. Another reason I liked the book is because it was through the eyes of one of the people who is a reason why so you get to understand how it would feel if you were in his position. I think the theme of the book is to think before you do something because it could cause a spiral of bad things and really hurt someone even if you think it’s no big deal.

Anya’s Ghost
Reviewed by Kiran D.
The book Anya’s Ghost by
Vera Brosgol is a really good book to read. It’s about a girl named
Anya and a ghost named Emily. Anya fell into a well and met Emily. Emily
told Anya that she had been in the well for 90 years and how she had
ended up in the well. She told her that a man came to live with them.
Then one night, the man killed her parents and ran after her, and she
fell in this well. She had been in the well for a long time and she was really thirsty
and died, and then became a ghost. People rarely passed by the well, so
she never got out. Emily told Anya that she couldn't pick anything up
and that she couldn't go far without her bones. When Anya was rescued
from the well, and when she went back home she was surprised to see
Emily there. How could have Emily got far away from her bones? Will she
ruin Anya’s life?
I love the book Anya’ Ghost and
would recommend for people to read it. I like this book for several
reasons. First of all, this book is a graphic novel. I love graphic
novels because they are mostly pictures that tell you the whole story,
but I still read the words though because it is fun. The second reason
is that because it take a shorter amount of time to read graphic novels.
Also this book is a mystery book and if you like mysterious, fun, and
graphic novels, this book is for you!!!
