Enemy By: Charlie Higson

Assignment: The Enemy

Imagine if all the grown ups that you knew became something incredibly hideous. A monster that could only be fed with the screams, and flesh of children. They have no control over themselves or what they are doing and the person you always knew and loved is gone. Arran is an ordinary boy who is the leader of a group of kids that survived the outbreak of the virus. But there might be a big problem lately they have been slowly running out of food and are beginning to starve. Arran is worried because if they can’t afford to feed themselves they could easily get sick and they can’t afford to lose anyone.
I really like the book (The Enemy) because of the plot was about the whole zombie apocalypse. Also the way everyone has a background in which they all had normal lives before the outbreak. This reminds me of a tv show called “The Walking Dead” its about a group that tries to survive an outbreak of zombies. Its a very interesting story, because in some episodes they find new survivors and everyday it gets harder to survive because they start running out of supplies. I really recomend this book to people who like zombie movies and survival movies.
Honorable Mention:
Brian's Winter
