The Tale of Despereaux

The Tale Of Despereaux
by Kate DiCamillo
pages: 239

This book is about a mouse named Despereaux.
He is not one of the ordinary mice, he has big ears and mice don’t have big ears. So, apparently Despereaux was not a normal mouse and he was treated different. The worst part about him was that he knew how to read, which a mouse should not be able to do, and it lead him to bad places. Since he read the book King Arthur and The Knights of The Round Table, he thought he was a knight. This took him to the princess and he talked to the princess. And that started everything. You see mice are not allowed to talk to humans so Despereaux was sent to the cells.

This book is a great book and I recommend this book to kids those love to read fantasy books.
