The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

The Battle of The Labyrinth by Rick Riordan *****
Have you ever thought about the Greek gods? Well what if they were all real: the monsters, the heroes and the gods? What if the gods had half mortal children? What if those children were half gods and fought off monsters on a daily bases? For Percy Jackson all of this is how he lives. He is the son of Poseidon and he fights monsters for a hobby.

Percy and his friends must venture into the deep, dark endless Labyrinth in order to save his beloved camp, Camp Half-blood. Percy must find and stop an army invasion of monsters. This reminds me of The Adventures of Ulysses because they are both about heroic deeds and ancient Greek gods.

  1. This is a great review of a great book! I have read this book at least twice, and your review made me want to read it again. I like how you asked questions of the reader in the beginning, such as, "Have you ever thought about the Greek gods? Well what if they were all real: the monsters, the heroes and the gods?" This is a great way to begin the review because it draws the reader in and makes them wonder about this review. This is why this review is very interesting.
